The Annual Westminster Diwali Reception is a landmark celebration of the enduring UK–India partnership, bringing together more than 150 distinguished figures from business, public service, the arts, and media. Co-hosted by the UK–India Future Forum (UKIFF), the High Commission of India, and the India All-Party Parliamentary Group, the evening combines exquisite hospitality with thoughtful reflections on the future of bilateral collaboration.

The 2025 edition will be held on Monday, 13 October and will feature brief remarks from senior leaders in the UK Government and the High Commission of India. Previous editions have included contributions from Rt Hon Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and Rt Hon Liz Kendall, Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology.

Set against the festive backdrop of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, the reception has become a signature moment in the UK–India calendar, a platform where influential voices gather to celebrate cultural ties, share perspectives, and shape the next chapter of this important partnership.
